The last trip to Gran Canaria lasted the entire month of October. I took the opportunity to attend reviewing the last private club opened in Maspalomas in the planta baja del Cita, in the night-puta’s club side.

Speaking of Tantra GC we must first of all say that it was needed! The Canarian winter lacked a SPA type structure with wonderful jacuzzi, sauna and private areas with daytime opening and the Tantra was done very well. Nothing is missing, everything is new and correctly placed: at the entrance there is the bar with the "dance" area and relaxation armchairs to enjoy even when dressed; a corridor with lockers for undressing introduces the large Jacuzzi in the Cap d 'Agde style, really well made; the stairs lead to the basement where there are playrooms (including a BDSM), sauna and showers.
In the opening phase (about 4 months ago) the segmentation of single men - couples was rather rigid (practically every other day) but the need to start the place and make it known left only the couples on Tuesday, for the rest access to all upon payment of 20 euros for couples and 50 euros for singles with double drink. At the moment, however, there are not many single men, also because in general there are few people, in perspective I believe we must return to the original segmentation to avoid the troublesome masses of lonely men who will inevitably arrive, as they did everywhere in Gran Canaria by looting. all that was good.
The staff are nice, the coktails good although not at the level of the close relative Secret (shared ownership and apparently competing) and the opening times - 18 PM to 4 AM is a little too club night, would have been better in winter to start earlier and close earlier but the mentality of those who go to Maspalomas in winter is too tied to the concept of traditional privè, the daytime SPA is more of an Italian taste.
From the point of view of attendance, the JOYCLUB party went very well, other days quite subdued, few people even if convinced in the games.
As every start-up business needs to start, it must be better understood and then it will be appreciated for what it is: one of the most intriguing and interesting places in Maspalomas. The mistake not to be made by the property is to fall into the trap of a quick break-even at all costs, worsening the services (beverage quality, water temperature, etc etc); to do, however, is the agreement with international dating and with the two swinger resorts (Venus and La Mirage) insert links to convey the couples on vacation also at the Tantra and not only at the Secret, now the only private room that really works on the island; retain Spanish couples, younger and more beautiful but with fewer economic possibilities, through discounts or reserved packages.
It is a great place, intriguing and clean, a valid alternative even for cool winter afternoons, to try without preconceptions.
